What Makes a Vredestein a Vredestein?

There is a lot that is not widely known about Vredestein tires. For example, Vredesteins are not mass produced. The tread of the tires is formed with a parabolic shape independently from the casing, so the rubber does not have to rely on the casing to give it its shape. This puts less stress on the rubber, which allows Vredestein tires to wear slower and more evenly.

Vredestein has maintained its own Malaysian rubber plantation since 1946, and many other tire companies purchase their raw rubber directly from them. Only the highest quality raw materials are used, and every step of production is carefully monitored.

The recommended inflation pressure of 145 psi for many Vredestein road tires is the highest on the market, and when matched with the 120 tpi casing gives the rider extremely low rolling resistance and excellent cornering abilities.

There are no other tires that ride like Vredesteins.
