Emergency Repair Classes and Basic At-Home Bike Care

Avoid getting stranded alongside the road or on the trail by learning common mid-ride bike fixes.
Keep your bike performing well in-between major tune-ups with some at-home skills.

Classes are Sundays at 3pm and are free but space is limited and registration is requested.

Classes are expected to be 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Bring your questions!

• Pre-ride check to limit incident

• Tire/tube repair, flat fix, patching tube, tire boot, flat fix, how to use co2 and pit stop

• Post incident check over: inspecting and getting home after crash on compromised bike

Trailside Repair topics include:

• Necessary tools and supplies for ride

• Pre-ride check to limit incident

• Tubeless flat repair, tubeless plug install, tube install

• Chain repair

• Post incident check, inspection and how to limp home on a compromised bike

At Home Repair topics include:

• Cleaning and inspecting your bike for damage and wear

• Torque check

• Carbon care

• Applying chain lube

• Pedal/cleat lube

• Bearing preload check and adjustment

• Suspension check

• Cable lube derailleur adjustment

• Brake adjustment

• Basic di2/axs troubleshooting and adjustments
