When you want to install SRAM or Quarq’s 24/22mm diameter thru-axle crank into a bottom bracket shell measuring 68mm wide and 42mm in diameter, you need CeramicSpeed’s BB30 SRAM GXP bottom bracket.
The CS bearings are hand-assembled and installed into aluminum cups that thread together for quiet durability without adapters. There are two bearing options. The first choice is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed balls. The second choice is our Coated Bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.
In The Box:
• Bottom bracket with bearings installed.
• 2 dust covers.
• 1mm spacer.
• 0.5mm spacer.
• GXP wave washer.
• 10ml syringe of CeramicSpeed All Round Grease.
• Sticker sheet.
About CeramicSpeed coatings:
CeramicSpeed’s coated products offer the ultimate gains in performance and longevity. Our proprietary coating features several attributes that improve the longevity of CeramicSpeed Bearings. The increased hardness of the races, combined with the smoothness of the CeramicSpeed Balls results in virtually no wear on the bearing.
The coating is a metallic layer, which is 75% harder than the hardened steel races. The coating is applied in a very thin and even layer of 3 microns (0,003 mm) on the entire surface of the bearing race. Both the inside and the outside are treated to achieve optimal results.
